I’m Jerry Don Ross — born and raised in Texas County, Oklahoma. I was the quarterback at William Jennings Bryan High School, studied at Goddard College, and came home to serve as Texas County Hide Inspector.
My great-great-grandfather, Jeremiah O’Donovan Ross, was mayor of Beer City in No Man’s Land before the Organic Act of 1890. The Ross family stayed. I’m still here.
I run this campaign myself. No highly paid consultants. No focus-grouped talking points. Just a neighbor trying to have an honest conversation about the future of the Panhandle.
Urban progressive policies earnestly applied to the rural Panhandle.
Central campaign promise: I am running for the gerrymandered 6th District in order to abolish it.
